About
Eric has been working in the University of Illinois Cancer Center as a researcher since 2019, specializing in genetic engineering and cancer model development. His approach to science is fundamentally interdisciplinary and exploration-based; having trained in chemistry, biophysics, and human genetics prior to his career in translational oncology and cancer immunology enables him to address scientific challenges from a range of perspectives. Eric always says that the most rewarding part of his role in Dr. Gadi’s lab, however, is working with students at every level of their education to develop as scientists. From high school students to PhD candidates, TImE Lab's mission is always to spark curiosity and creativity while pushing the boundaries of cancer biology and therapy through our research.
Originally from Buffalo, NY, and a proud Southsider since 2016, when he is not in the lab, you can count on him rooting for his hometown Bills and Sabres or taking in a White Sox game, gaming, cooking, or taking long walks with his dog, Merlin.
